If anyone reading this is colorblind, then you don’t know that this client LOVES blue. I mean LOVES blue.  So, after she told me that several times we chose a blue that was vibrant and fun.

They also told me that they loved modern furniture. The problem to solve was that the house they  bought was not contemporary at all.  As you can see from the after photos -now it is!

The kitchen is their hub. They love to cook and entertain. So, we took out a bank of cabinets that were part of a dividing wall between the kitchen and the den. We also took out the wall between the dining room and the den. This created a much-needed open space and the ability to have a great island in the kitchen.

The master bathroom has the lively blue and loads of light. We removed the garden tub and replaced it with a modern light filled shower. We added a dynamite makeup counter.

The overall project doesn’t make me BLUE- it makes me smile!
